Indigenous Landkeepers Fellowship Proposals

The Capital Region Landkeepers Trust wishes to help grow the skills and leadership capacity of Indigenous people to work on landkeeping activities through the award of tailor-made fellowships for promising applicants.

We will consider a wide variety of activities in an Indigenous Landkeepers Fellowship. This provides opportunities for fellowships to be designed according to individual needs. A maximum of $10,000 may be requested and there are no age limits on applicants. They may be still at school, young adults or more mature people. A program may be of short and focussed duration or of any appropriate length up to 1 year.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE MADE BY AN ORGANISATION ON BEHALF OF A RECIPIENT

The organisation must be a registered entity capable of administering the funds, arranging the activities, and monitoring and  supporting the recipient.

Co-sponsorship from the sponsoring organisation and other partners will be favoured. Organisations that might sponsor  applications could include Indigenous organisations, other community organisations, schools, regional NRM bodies,
governments or universities.

Applications may be submitted at any time of the year.
